Getting ready for boot camp? Let's get started!
To find out the graduation date, you'll need to know the ship date and which Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) boot camp they're attending (Parris Island or San Diego). Once you've got that info, use our handy charts below to figure out their graduation date and which training battalion and company they'll be part of for the next 13 weeks. You'll then join the corresponding company group on the Marine Parents Community Network to connect with other parents and get support during boot camp.
If you don't see your recruit's ship date in the charts just yet, don't worry! We typically publish them about two weeks before the ship date. As a Poolee Parent, you're just getting started on this journey, and there's a lot to learn. Please join the Poolee Group first. Our fantastic volunteer team will provide you with valuable tips before your poolee's ship date and keep you in the loop when ship and graduation dates are announced, so you can stay join your recruit's company page as soon as they ship to boot camp. You won't join your poolee's company group for boot camp until the Sunday before they ship.
